Frank Buress, who recently announced that he is running against Republican Joan Ballweg for the Ballweg’s seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 41st District, will attend the 4-County Candidate event in Green Lake, at Christianos.
This represent’s a chance for Green Lake Country members and friends to meet and greet the Westfield candidate. Read Buress’ announcement of his candidacy.
Buress will be joined that the April 19 event by two other Dems seeking election. Mahon Mitchell is one of a dozen or more candidates who will meet in the Aug. 14 primary election. The winner of that race will gain the Democratic Party nomination to face incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker in November.
Also scheduled to appear at the April 19 meeting is Dan Kohl, who is seeking to upend Republican Glenn Gothman for the 6th Congressional District seat in Washington.
